Hello and welcome to my gallery. I hope you enjoy visiting the world as seen through my camera lens. While I am somewhat new to digital photography, I have spent many years observing fascinating glimpses of people, places, and things that are at the root of my images. I have always used these mental images as a focus for painting, but unfortunately I do not have the proper time these days to devote to this much loved hobby.
I have recently taken up the sport of cycling... again. While I did ride in college (the Little 500), I didn't really get serious about cycling until recently. I really enjoy photographing cycling events and love trying to capture the moments created within the races. If you look close enough at some of the pictures, you will see the greatest competition comes from within. In this picture, I am the one in the middle with the camera mounted... of course.
Of course, my main interest is now my girls. I am blessed to be surrounded with three beautiful girls who often end up being the main focus of my photography. Time and life are moving quicker than ever and I am hopeful to capture the essence of this period of my life which in many ways I consider to be our "wonder years". While I wish I could make time slow down, I know that I must take advantage of every moment and document what I can. Hopefully my camera will help us recall these years and re-create the warm, smiles, and fulfillment felt during each moment captured.
